I don't know how to explain this properly but the rate of mentally ill repliers here is insane. Higher than Twitter somehow. It makes up a significant % of my notifications

Hopefully I can tune my algorithm enough to filter out the politics. It’s exhausting hearing about it day in and day out. I just want normal shit on my feed. Seems like it takes a lot to change the algorithm though.

Mastodon feels just plain mean, in my opinion.
Plus they routinely ban people who push back on some of the more unhinged takes, which leads to echo chambers.
