Me after a long ride: “I’m pooped!”

Kid: “How long was that?”

Me: “Three hours.”

Kid: “How did you poop for three hours?”

ICE is attempting to deport an Atlanta-based Spanish-language reporter from El Salvador who has been covering their immigration abductions. He has legal work authorization and a path to a green card.

This is pretty obviously an assault on the free press.

“ICE” as snatching people from churches now. Never forget they said this👇🏾

MAN AT CHURCH: “We don’t want this in our property.”

ICE: “The whole country is our property.”

No IDs shown, non-government out of state plates, basic tactical vests that just say police. Who are these men?

I expect this will end up in court, just like the Administration’s attempt to fire CPB Board Members earlier this week.

This executive order is legally meaningless because the President has no legal authority over the CPB Board. It's a private non-profit corporation, not an executive agency.

Let's see how many news articles about this get that fact completely wrong, or present it as a question for debate.

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

Bringing my pinned Tweet along with me as I migrate here because this still matters & because we cannot normalize what Trump intends to do to DOJ. Justice should never be a political tool for presidents & their pals.

The mainstream media routinely spreads the talking points of racist and sexist propagandists. These WaPo reporters wrote Walmart “will no longer consider race and gender when choosing suppliers, a practice it leaned into after the 2020 murder of George Floyd.”
