I liked the whole thing but the first half (ish) was my favorite part. The inn, the crossroads, the initial visit to the castle. All pretty perfect.

Fun trail race today on the mersey. Less moody and misty than when I did it three years ago, and happy to have opted for the shorter distance (11k). Not sure December is the season for half marathons.
