If it’s a hit, they will probably adapt the sequel, W For Wreak Vengeance, as well as the rest of the Sue Grafton oeuvre.

Yes, but you have to balance that with the fact that she wanted to get paid for a job without actually doing the job, and which of us hasn't wanted that?

At the company picnic in 1930, not only did Harold Barefoot fare well (including in the three-legged race, where he was tied to Alf. Pow), but Hazel Barefoot and Ilene Barefoot also finished toward the top. It was a great day for Barefoot runners.

I would argue it’s because Rumours is a great album made of great songs. Dark Side is a great album experienced as a whole, but doesn’t have a kickin’ single to draw in the new listener. Eagles Greatest Hits v. 2 is a bunch of good singles that weren’t designed to be played together.

Oh no, we were certainly "lucky" (it doesn't actually benefit us until we don't need a house anymore, and we'd rather the neighborhood was affordable)... but in general, house prices do go up over these long terms, even beyond mere inflation (which would have raised the value by 50% in that time.)

A 50 year mortgage is a bad idea... but even under it, you're likely to build substantial equity. Why? Because the value of your house goes up. We bought a $450K house 16 years ago. While we still owe $250K, because the house is now worth $925K, we have $675K equity.
