“Weaponizing the DOJ” takes on a whole new level when you order investigations in order to reopen it so it’s no longer closed and you can claim you can’t release information because it’s an “ongoing investigation”

In normal times, it would be a major scandal for the President to direct his AG to criminally investigate his political opponents to deflect from his own involvement in a major scandal — and for the AG to immediately announce she is doing it. The Epstein scandal and cover up just got even bigger.

Top tier explainer today from @stevevladeck.bsky.social on what likely occurred with the SNAP case. It was not “referred” by Justice KBJ, to the full Court, as is the usual practice from a Circuit Justice. But instead it was “taken” by the full court.

Bonus 192: The Court vs. the Circuit Justice
Tuesday's ruling in the SNAP case appears to be the second example in seven months (and for quite some before that) of the full Supreme Court taking an application away from the circuit justice.

Might be a new low even for him. It’s nauseating to read this from the President of the United States.
The President wouldn't last five minutes as an air traffic controller, and after everything they've been through - and the way this administration has treated them from Day One - he has no business shitting on them now.

The man wants a cut of everything the fed gov does. Why do you think he ordered his minions to put our dollars in an HSA? He wants his own healthcare system like his crypto, drug company and everything else.

agreeing to make a terrible deal while your main opponent is quite literally being boo'd on live tv by an entire stadium of people is the kind of political instinct you'd normally only find in a 3 week old dead goldfish

Love this so much! Ya know, people can look very different but when you put them together and connect as members of the same species the common ground can create magic.

I wish Project 25ers understood that no one is inferior to white males. We can all lift each other up. Way better together!

I’ve come to believe that we need to gather considerable forces and a campaign to demand the removal of face masks by ICE, Border Patrol, FBI and police.

It is a practice in conflict with the principles of transparency & accountability that are central to the concept of democracy.
Video on social media shows an immigration agent pulling a gun in Little Village and holding it to the side — which is not an appropriate or safe way to hold a gun. (Among other issues.)
