India reaffirmed a game-changing definition of "illicit financial flows" which INCLUDES global tax abuse. This has been kept out of the definition for years, preventing countries from tackling the problem head on. Not anymore.

Wow. "Despite its own automatic systems flagging the advertisers behind these scams, Meta does not terminate their account...it charges them more money as a “disincentive.” In other words, fraudulent ads are more profitable for Meta than non-scam ads." (15 billion scam ads daily = $7 billion a year)

Today, the 2025 State of Tax Justice report reveals that the OECD has delayed publication of multinational tax data by over six months, without public explanation. When data disappears, so does leverage for change.

Until now, we knew that 1.37% of tax abuse could address 100% of starvation.

TJN reported global tax abuse at $492 billion. FSIN recorded 37 million people in IPC Phase 4 (Emergency) or Phase 5 (Catastrophe) food insecurity. WFP estimates one meal at $0.50 per person per day.
