Getting back to writing now that the holiday hoopla is over. Actually got a decent amount of work done on the somewhat neglected 11th Jezebel Johnston pirate novel today. Yay me!

Definitely Brett and Hardwicke. It always felt like this was the Holmes and Watson that stepped out of the Arthur Conan Doyle stories that I loved so much as a teenager.

I think a lot of these extra people on those ships are potential immigrants and our current government knows it. This is their disgusting way to cut down on the amount of undocumented folks coming across the border. That's why all the secrecy about how they're finding out who is smuggling drugs.
