I just got quite blindsided by this wonderful gift doodle by Tyrnn of Alistor formally greeting the city of San Fransisco after having moved into the area some time ago.

May as well start #macromarch with something I still really love. I got a sketch from @kencougr.bsky.social five years ago (guh) and I colored it but I did not want to mess with his sketch at all. It's just so right and powerful and awesome and RAWR!

And I've only grown more powerful since then!

I got the random bug to figure out some scale things because being taller than any man-made building is kinda hard to comprehend!

Don't ask me how a tank got up there, nor how a Ford F-150 is nearly the size of a dang tank itself.

I have to be honest, this just feels powerful in a way I cannot properly vocalize. For many years I could only kind of imagine this kind of view, but now it's there and it's ME. Daikaiju sized thanks to @kencougr.bsky.social for making me blush so hard.
Your immediate surroundings darken as if a sudden storm rushed in with the force of an angry god, and with the nigh-apocalyptic rumbling and shaking that precedes it, you'd likely think that's exactly the case. It stops, and before you can check your phone for the earthquake alerts, you catch the people around you pointing upwards. A pink mountain of a creature has made its way here and stops for a moment, looming forward a bit and putting a massive tail to work balancing all that mass. Greeting all of you is a smiling face, peaking between the deep cleavage the creature gleefully sports, contained just so in an inky black bikini. You can't make out how tall they are, but the tall office buildings around you barely come up to their calves. It's rather unmistakable who they are, as someone gleefully squeaks out, "Oh shit, it's Alistor!"
