No worries! Americans have the weirdest units of measurement, it gets very confusing. I have to filter out US recipes - bad enough the family cookbooks are in 3 or 4 languages, but at least the weights are the same, bar the odd antiquated Ottoman measure anyway 😅

When you have surgery they take you through every single possibility and risk, from adverse reactions to death. When you have a coil fitted you get... nothing. I can't help but think there should be a duty of care to fully inform and THEN let us decide.

I don't want to sound dramatic, but it was mildly traumatising, especially as I had no idea what to expect, never having had one. The nurses who took it out were legends though. At least nobody quibbled the vasectomy, but they tend not to when a man wants to become sterile 😅
