i've been making a crochet tube scarf with a Tapestry crochet technique and Wolfram rule 30 as the pattern. since the boundary conditions of 1D cellular automaton can repeat, the pattern is seamless no matter how the tube is rotated. i'm almost done with it, will post a pic or two once it's finished
