Private equity firm Sycamore Partners bought Walgreens.

Now Walgreens has stopped giving most workers paid vacation on Thanksgiving, Christmas and other major holidays.

Private equity takeovers are a disaster for workers, and customers.

the first NFL game in Berlin, Germany was tied 25-25 with 25 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

This reminds us Project 2025 was originally written in German.

Dallas kicker Brandon Aubrey just tried to tie the one-day-old record for longest field goal.... haven't seen an Aubrey miss the mark this badly since Drake tried to diss Kendrick Lamar.

I would like for national political reporters to place a moratorium on “But what will voters in the rest of America think about New York City’s socialist mayor?” We don’t care! Red states are notably full of psycho politicians yet rarely do you see pundits asking Brooklyn people about them.

today's the anniversary of when David Letterman dedicated an entire "Late Show" to Warren Zevon.

My phone's alarm is set to play a random Zevon song.

Today it played, "Roland The Headless Thompson Gunner."

that was the last song he played that night on Letterman's show.
