Unity just announced Unity 6.2 beta includes a lot of AI features, ofc AI slop too (sprite, texture, model, animation, code gen) and it make me INSECURE about my artistic vision for future indie game dev!

the games industry needs to shift to a model more akin to films and tv. when people come together to make art, the result shouldnt be associated with a company where the original creatives will swap out, it should be associated with the people behind it as their unique perspective created that art

it is frustrating seeing those programming videos on youtube which are like "I made ____" where its just them asking chatgpt to do it, like you didnt fucking make that at all. i dont continue watching because it is clear they have no insight to give, and it is a waste of time to watch.
