Relatively straightforward methodologically, to see what happens with synapses and excitability (we tried similar with BHB); E4 neurons have impaired OXPHOS and are shifted towards glycolysis, so the end result would be super cool to look at. One potential confounder is glycogen in neurons though.

Super interesting! Wish there was more in-depth e-phys analysis, although synaptic disruption is reasonable given recent Kumar et al. paper.

Same here… Dates are Nov 12–13, but I’m not holding my breath. Still have to submit reviews by Oct 31. And even if the study section does meet, it’ll be sad and surreal reviewing grants when only 1–2 will likely get funded next year.
