Interesting, getting a summary statement for a discussed R01 on Thanksgiving. At least it was a good score, so makes for a great holiday read.

Interesting! In our Malkov2021 paper we looked at activity-induced glc and lac transients in slices, and we did see a solid correlation between Abeta-induced decrease in glucose uptake and lactate release. Didn't measure glutamate though...
