If you were still doing the podcast this would make an excellent one - get bottle and can versions and drink them side by side. 🍻

And yes, I think Belgians in cans are less carbonated and don't taste the same as the same beer in a bottle. Saison DuPont is a good example, one I've had a few of both canned and bottled. In a can it's still pretty dang good, but I prefer the bottled version. I *think* it's better. 🤷‍♂️

This is a side note to your post, but related to the impact of canned versions of beers traditionally placed in bottles: in my experience, the canned versions of BA stouts don't age as well and are thinner. Is that the can? Or something else? Not sure.

Really hope he manages to get in some downtime so he doesn't burn out at some point! But then again, I get the feeling he's just really this energetic. 😂

Those are the longest, most detailed answers I've read from a Beavers head coach in many years (not including Akey). Really, really looking forward to see what Murphy can do in 2026.

It’ll be interesting to see where they sit in depth charts come end of August. Hopefully some get starting shots.

There seems to be a gigantic misunderstanding on what is meant by representing the people. I’m almost to the burn it all down stage.

It’s also insanely handy when your MIL is Japanese and needs insurance docs and the like translated because she can’t follow the English. It’s been a lifesaver!

Not that anyone cares what I think. 😂 I mean, clearly. If this was about presenting something for fans to enjoy rather than just making money for ESPN we wouldn't be in this situation.

The same should be true for stealing coaches from lower tier teams who are under contract. Yes, some of the contracts have buyouts for a poaching team, but it needs to be more difficult.

And no, there shouldn't be a payment from a lower tier school if they reach a deal with a player coming from a Power 4 team. The system is set up to be unequal and the Power 4 teams already have all of the advantages.

Division II, FCS, and FBS Group of 6 schools should receive SOMETHING (likely a check into their NIL fund) when a school from the SEC/BIG 10/B1G Ten/Big12/ACC signs a deal with a player they developed in the portal. The lower tier school did a lot of work and should be compensated.

Clocked myself in the head with the metal hose nozzle when I thought I could flip it up to catch it. Also, playing with my dog and trying to keep up with her changes of direction I tore a muscle in my foot. Thankfully on different days.

Hmm, it's not as bad as I expected. I'm sure work will make up for that. I do have 600 emails to sift through...
