I think what a lot of people don't want to face is that Trump's rise isn't an anomaly. This has been in the works for far longer than any of us have been alive and to move to something *better* than fascism is going to take more work than falling back into the pre- Trump status quo.

The push to replace artists with AI is a fascist push. The devaluing of arts and humanities in favor of engineering and computers is a fascist push. Students being unable to read a book is, yep, a fascist push.

I think what a lot of people don't want to face is that Trump's rise isn't an anomaly. This has been in the works for far longer than any of us have been alive and to move to something *better* than fascism is going to take more work than falling back into the pre- Trump status quo.
