I can’t believe how intense it is working on these transfer applications. Not stressful, just all-consuming. The shorter essays are mostly fun, but the personal essay is giving me some trouble. Like what do I write about? How do I paint a complete picture of 60+ years in 650 words or fewer?

Last year, I hit a reset button and began life as a college student at 62 years old, attending in-person classes at a community college in the DFW area. As of yesterday, I’m a sophomore!!

And yes, the pic is definitely not-so-humble-bragging. I’ve worked hard and it’s been a long time coming.
