I am slightly afraid that I probably brought the traditional con lurgy to the festival. I certainly came home with it as well. So if you’re sitting at home coughing, you can blame me, but also take comfort in the fact that I’m suffering too :)

So that was Thought Bubble. I’ll add more as I think of it, but it was a fab time all round and the TBubs crew deserve massive thanks for bringing together such a huge comics community, with so many opportunities to learn, make connections and enjoy comics. Thank you @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social

She also left her bags with us and I was so tempted to just slip some copies of my comics into them, but they were neatly zipped up and it didn’t feel right to unzip 😅

One more highlight of @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social for me was meeting Posy Simmonds, who came and sat behind our table for a bit 😱😱😱

From a purely practical point of view, I’m proud to have brought the panel in on time, and given each speaker equal chances to shine! Let’s skim over my attempts to match the relevant slides with whoever was talking 😳 - it’s tricky to host and click!!
