1.Just finished reading @andreawulf.bsky.social Magnificent Rebels and what a wonderful read. This book was given to me by an ex-pupil of mine when leaving 6th form- he had even taken it to the Hay festival to get the author to inscribe it to me. I learned so much from this book about the Jena Set.

So good to come across calm edutalk once again here 😊 and everyone sharing thoughts and ideas - been collecting a few new followers this week and started following a few more myself ! Will look to start posting more here and threads from now on !

Bad headline. It doesn’t divide grammar ‘nerds’. It vaguely interests writing style guides. It infuriates pedants though, as it proves that there are no rules, there are only conventions after all. Which is what the (good) style guides have said all along 😊 www.theguardian.com/science/arti...
