I sit in the house all day and ramble. In another life I was a philosopher (but not a good one). Learning how to build cool stuff one day at a time.
Decided to build an ergonomic split keyboard because why not.

Why did no one tell me I could line a container with an esd bag and get the same or even better anti static properties compared to using esd filament. I almost went down the high density conductive foam path too *shivers*.

Amanda absolutely robbed I can't believe my eyes I'm sick.

The Serrano Taylor fight is one of the best scrappiest fast paced close quarters fights I've ever seen. Wow just wow. What a show

I did not have seeing Mike Tysons butt cheeks on my bingo card tonight

How many programmers does it take to screw in a lightbulb??

None. That's a hardware issue.

I've just gone down the ESD rabbit hole. Now I'm looking at $80/kg ESD filament to print gridfinity containers. Unnecessary? Probably. But I like wasting money.

This feels like a milestone - another round of fiddling with counterweights, and I can now turn it up to 900 rpm - that's 30 fps. This is fast enough that anyone can point a phone at it and pretty much record what they're seeing.

Dirty little confession:

When I was a kid, I used to go the bathroom and run the water but not wash my hands so my mom thought I did. ADHD issues.
If you saw someone shoplifting from a corporation, no you did not.

If you saw someone walk out of the restroom without washing their hands, I can’t condemn making sure everyone hears about it.

Full transparency. We are returning to America because we can't afford to keep going. We did miss out on Japan and Korea which we thought would have turned what we thought we knew upside down. Like I said, this shit is COSTLY.
Me and my gf decided to do a 6 month trip in Asia. We only made it 4 months. I learned a lot from this trip but what I learned most was that influencers are LIARS. Sorry that was harsh. But travel influencers very greatly stretch the truth on what traveling is like, especially when you're not rich.

I've never used Twitter. Mostly discord and reddit. It's feels... weird seeing all these accomplished and intelligent people just here chatting. Mind blowing I can be in the same space as geniuses and trailblazers and thought leaders in their own niches. I love the internet (sometimes).

I followed a bunch of really smart people and I quickly realized I'm out of my depth.... I have no clue what 90% of my discovery page is talking about. It's either PhD level science, 20 YoE tech folks, or random algorithm tuning posts about obscure games and niche hobbies. I'm cooked.

Screaming into the void here. But I'm getting my first 3d printer. Is Bambulab p1s combo enough. Or should I just take a hit on the pricetag and get the x1c Carbon. I'm not going to be printing 24/7 so I'm not sure if the extra features and cost are worth it.

How do you even grow a following on apps like this if you aren't already well known in other apps/communities. Is there even a point?
