🚨 The Netanyahu government is planning a massive West Bank land grab – 450 acres of a heritage site belonging to Palestinians.

This isn’t “tourism development.” It’s the ongoing seizure of Palestinian land. We have a moral obligation as American Jews to speak out.

Hey, just want to mumble that this is wildly illegal and inappropriate and would prompt impeachment proceedings if we still had a functional Congress instead of one run by a blind, deaf and mute Renfeld wannabe.

It's absolutely astonishing: In just about 13 years, Norway has skyrocketed from virtually no sales of zero-emission battery electric vehicles to nearly 100% of all new passenger car purchases.

NOW: Over 100,000 people on the streets of Tel Aviv after a day of disruption! NO to the killing, NO to the abandonment. Right now all of us must act with all our strength against the extremists who want us to despair and to think they can’t be stopped. We won’t back down!

If you think it can’t happen here, remember that it already did. In 1942 soldiers came with rifles to our home and ordered us out. They put us in internment camps. Most of us were citizens.

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

I was also an REU- it informed my career path in ways I couldn’t have guessed. Everyone should have this opportunity.
I was an intern in one of these programs, which convinced me to switch from Philosophy to Earth and Environmental Sciences. I’ve also mentored REU interns, who are now professors themselves. This cancellation is extremely sad and shortsighted.
Undergraduate research opportunities are incredibly valuable, both for the students and for the progress of the work. And having undergraduate research experience is a massive help for grad school admission. REU cancellations harm students’ preparedness & career prospects, and slow research progress
