Not really a man on a mission just another Twitter/X refugee.
I made that slow-cooker spaghetti bolognese and it was ok. Probably a bit watery but that's my own fault as I added bell peppers, sun-dried tomatoes and more garlic seeing as I'm lumbered with 4 bulbs, the recipe required just 2 cloves. The leftover meals were better as it reduced in the reheating.

My village bus shelter wasn't as fancy as Sheringham's although as I just checked on Google, it's not there anymore. Nor is the awful modern telephone box which replaced our traditional red one which used to be at the crossroad. This image is from past 2009 Google maps. #Norfolk

Having a quick Google, there's quite a lot of film titles with exclamation marks but I should imagine one of the first, if not the first is Harold Lloyd's 'Safety Last!' (1923). The TV compilation show 'Hooray for Harold Lloyd' (1977) was still on the telly when I was teenager in the 80s.

I just think it's a bit over the top, to be honest. Plus the 3 security questions, never remember them even with the prompts – "what was your first school?" and then your answer has to be one word 6-15 characters? Ridiculous!

You always have to use your username, password then random characters from your memorable name like, what is the 2nd 5th and 8th letter/character? Ironically I've forgotten my memorable name so many times because I rarely use online banking I just reset my details each time, which takes ages to do.

Just received a bill for £240 for when Merseyside Police kicked my door down responding to a call of duty of care and boarded me up in my own house for 22 days. Talk about insult to injury.

I was in Woolworths, Hunstanton in the 80s (I was 15/16 in 1988) and was confronted with Don Estelle standing on a box, microphone in hand singing 'Whispering Grass' (...what else?) – maybe it was this day in this photo unless he regularly made appearances in Hunstanton Woolies flogging his tapes?

I watched another Marvel superhero movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). At 2hr 30min, I missed some of the film because I fell asleep – I woke up and it was still going. Amusing that 4 of the cast are Brits pretending to be Americans:
Tom Holland
Benedict Cumberbatch
Alfred Molina
Andrew Garfield

I had some that emailed so infrequently that they'd just go straight into my junk folder and then I had some that emailed everyday.

I've just unsubscribed from a couple that have been sending 2 emails per day since all that Black Friday guff started.

I don't remember it nor watched it but apparently, according to Wikipedia, in the UK, Family Ties aired on Channel 4 from July 1985 on and off till 1989 then it went to satellite/cable Sky TV upto about 1992.
