It’s been a pretty busy couple of days all things considered! Our priority now is to meet with civic leaders to discuss how this affects our business.
We will also be calling for public consultations with both the indie businesses and the wider community of Leith regarding future Newkirkgate plans.

Felt unreasonably tired all day, got a headache halfway through and was fairly annoyed at the whole thing. I’ve just had a few days off work, so why the stress headache? Sudden thumb pain just set in.

Finally a dry day so I can get the garden ready for winter. I wonder if I’ll find anything crazy again this year. Two years ago we had a mushroom circle that we very respectfully left alone 😅

My partner and I always joke that my writing “turns on” at 11 at night.
I just had the “eureka” moment at the start of a story where the character reveals who they truly are (I don’t control it, don’t ask), and said as much to my partner. He looked at the clock and just laughed.
