I think I'll try to find a theater this weekend to see it again on a large screen. <3 4/4

As a kid, having so many unexplained aches and pains, I felt as if I must have been made from used & broken parts. Then I read Shelley's Frankenstein. I already felt like a freak, never fitting in. Here was a monster like me. So yeah, I love him and his story, and when he's handled with care. <3 3/4

We all knew del Toro would treat Frankenstein, or his monster, with the heart he deserves. the film is also *stunning* visually. Costuming and set design are a dream. My colleague hates horror films but always watches del Toro ones because they're so beautiful. 2/4

There is no argument you can make to me that will make me go, "oh yeah good point let's just abandon all the trans people I love" because I'm not a political operative, I'm a human fucking being who thinks we should not be monsters.

Unfortunately as the keeper of the peripherals, they really do come in handy and it makes it all so much worse!
