mutual aid is a great way to build community & resilience. it also allows to start building the alternative systems we need to divest from & overthrow the state. by coming together to understand and meet each others needs & wants we are brining the revolution into our everyday life
fascism is an an atomizing force and community solidarity is a massive way to defeating it. find your communities do what you can to build resilience into them and yourself. we will not survive this fascism alone. The only way we survive is by coming together.

The Mutual Aid Podcast explores mutual aid history and practice through reflection and interviews. Genuinely awesome concept as mutual aid is so need-specific and adaptive, a lot of it feels like reinventing the wheel. Notes from experiences elsewhere are helpful and welcome.

This past week we offered a hot meal to about 9500 people. As weaponized starvation ravages through the strip, community kitchens become even more vital. those who come to our kitchens don't have other options & our kitchens are solely sustained by global financial solidarity

glory to our martyrs. may they raise to the highest level of paradise & may we all find the courage & strength we need to standup against oppression wherever it stands. may we all learn to honor, center, & protect life in all we do. may life itself fuel our resistance against empire's death machines
Yesterday during food prep in the north & after food distribution in the south, the zioentity targeted our team. 4 martyrs.bc of this most recent escalation against our team, the decision was made to not open a kitchen today,they still targeted our kitchen location. food has always been weaponized.

mutual aid - a strategy, a tactic, or both?

what are your thoughts?

post-🎧 reflections:
the Bund & the concept of "Hereness" mirrors the practice of mutual aid in that both ask of us to start w. where we are & what we have. both ask of us to stop looking outward for solutions & instead build & invest in our current geographical temporality.
@essssraaa.bsky.social
Doikayt Now! @mollycrabapple.bsky.social joins @ayoub.bsky.social to talk about the Bund and how their concept of ‘Hereness’ can help us build a better world than the hellscape being proposed by techno-dystopianism and end-time fascism.

Everyone can organize.

Everyone can contribute to social movements.

Everyone can do something, from somewhere.

None of this is about "professionalism" or policy"expertise. That is counterinsurgency, demobilizing logic.

Everyone can organize and has something to offer.
