One of the key features of authoritarian / totalitarian government is the sidelining of the organs of governement in favor of the organs of The Party (Nazi, Fascist, Communist). These party organs assume the role of various goverment functions (think DOGE). A subtle by scary development.
It’s so refreshing to have an admiration that isn’t weaponizing the justice system in service of narrow political agendas that serve the needs of an authoritarian government!
