I have used a lot of cashmere yarn in my life… in my mind, there’s only one brand that’s meant to last for more than a season or two of hard use. If you’re into being warm, but also having clothes that last a long time, there’s nothing better than June cashmere.

The boy and I on our morning frolic. We are both sort of low energy today, but we’re leaf peeping and enjoying the crisp atmosphere before it turns to bitter cold in the next few weeks.

Yesterday I received this antique machine as a gift. It’s a domestic 2 thread lock machine and was most likely used to sew military uniforms or in Japan’s early ready to wear industry.
