Police will not protect you from ICE. Both of them kidnap, cage, sexually assault, brutalize and antagonize black and brown people they find suspicious at random. They have the same job. They do the same thing. If we didn’t end stop and frisk they would be asking for your papers too.

When police accuse protesters of being "professional agitators," remember—

Police are unscrupulous mercenaries who assault anyone they are ordered to in return for a paycheck.

Protesters who stand up to police are doing so for free, at tremendous risk to themselves, as a service to the public.
St. Paul police brutally assault locals defending their neighbors from ICE, then absurdly accuse the locals of being "professional agitators."

"We are not your adversary. We are your police."

They support ICE with violence, just as they murder with impunity. They are, in fact, our adversaries.

she’s lying, obviously. we can see the video with our own eyes. but it’s so interesting that they’re suddenly so willing to believe a car is a deadly weapon when they ignored the 100 documented instances of right wingers hitting protesters with their cars in 2020.
Noem: "People need to stop using their vehicles as weapons ... it's clear that it's being coordinated. People are being trained"

The woman killed by ICE today was a poet. She won the 2020 Academy of American Poets, University & College Poetry Prize at Old Dominion University.

(And this is Renee from confirmed socials- a photo of a different woman with red lipstick is going around, but that was a classmate.)

“Gaza, unless there is a rapid reversal in how our societies are configured and ruled, is a window into the future. It is not a freakish anomaly. War will be the common denominator of human existence. The strong will take from the weak.” - Chris Hedges

The Death House
The genocide in Gaza is not a freakish anomaly. It is a harbinger of what awaits us as the ecosystem disintegrates and governments embrace climate fascism.

There's been endless talk about an AI bubble, but less about exactly how, why, and how much it's a bubble. So I turned to the framework put forward by scholars Brent Goldfarb and David A. Kirsch, authors of "Bubbles and Crashes," for assessing tech bubbles.

Spoiler: On a scale of 1 to 8, AI is an 8
AI Is the Bubble to Burst Them All
I talked to the scholars who literally wrote the book on tech bubbles—and applied their test.
