BC fracked gas exports have about the same carbon footprint as coal, with or without electrified LNG plants. And LNG competes with wind and solar, which is *much* less polluting. And LNG will likely go bankrupt competing with solar. Why are we subsidizing this disaster?!? #bcpoli #climatesky
When completed the Haisla Nation Cedar LNG project will be one of the lowest emission plants in the world. Powering this major export project with clean electricity ensures that BC has the competitive edge when it comes to selling our product to Asian markets.
