Raising a glass of bubbly to a dear departed friend 😢

Just made a cake to take to work tomorrow - refined sugar and gluten free, it’s a bit of an experiment. I bet at least one of my colleagues will turn it down 😝 The icing is made from avocados, cocoa and honey. The cake is actually paleo. It’s a bit flat cos my tins were too big.

The Chipmunks of Willow Wood by Elleston Trevor - my dad used to read it out loud to me when I was ill, long after I was old enough to read it myself. He used to do all different voices for the different animals and it was funny because there was a lot of harrumphing and hiccuping.
