Based on these findings we make a couple of policy recommendations: 1) work to close the gap between single-family and multi-family tree canopy cover, 2) factor connectivity into municipal tree policy, & 3) take a context-specific approach to increase tree cover in industrial areas. 🧵 7/8

While I'm on this topic, I'll also add that through NIMBY-ism, exclusionary zoning practices, etc. multi-family residential areas are also more likely to be located next to industrial land uses (and associated pollution). 🧵 6/8
