I do hope that exponents of 'no excuses' (who later claimed never to have been exponents of this stuff) will now understand what we were all warning against. These rigid systems run counter to inclusive practice.

They're trying to convince us that AI can do job of educators but the thing is AI can't build relationships, motivate and inspire young people, or soothe them if they get dysregulated. That's why imo it's so important to push back against the idea that learning is only about memorising stuff.

Sad to hear about Matthew Perry. Far too young. He was an iconic part of my childhood, and his turn in Fallout New Vegas was stellar.
