Also, that suitcase contains all of my favourite clothes I’ve sewn for myself over the past year, and all the wonderful beach wear I’d sewn over the past week, so I would have been inconsolable. The universe was looking out for me. 🥹

Same here, I also don’t have the volume on unless I’m alone because I don’t want to annoy Derek with whatever videos I’m watching or skipping past. I couldn’t imagine blasting the volume out in the world.

Both of these things are absolutely true. People can’t stand to be inconvenienced even slightly anymore (no headphones = volume off) since the unsocialization of COVID times, so they make it everyone else’s problem instead.
