Hibernation kicked in today. Long walk. Washed the floor. Cleared the kitchen. And then dossed with Tiny Ted. The whole day.

Tiny Ted and I are revelling in the heat. We have become accustomed to not- heat. I am drenched post walk and a shower beckons.

Late impromptu breakfast at Blake’s en route to the Baltic in hissing rain and with no suitable attire. Wonderful. It’s a long walk back up Dean Street but worth it. Drove home feeling uplifted.

Temperatures are dropping. Still no gas and no heat. May have to relocate again but difficult to chase engineers from a distance. Tricky times.

Tiny Ted barked when she saw me, but the tail was wagging. She’s now fast asleep and expecting a very long lie in …. There have been tales of her adventures with Auntie Vola and Kitty via the medium of dreams with much yipping and tiny growls. She hadn’t stirred.

I had a Dream Visit from an old family friend. I’m wondering if it would be apposite to call my hen after her ? She would be Marjorie. Or maybe Mildred which was a long standing connected name after her toddler son told an elder that was his name. I’ll see what @thetiniestvole.bsky.social thinks

I should be doing stuff. There’s a list. But we had a bad night with vomiting. Tiny Ted has had an exciting two days and the food rules were broken with some rich handy stuff that was more transportable than the massive tins of gastro pap which she’s bored to ribbons with. She’s still in bed.

Tiny Ted is completely zonko after a lovely afternoon chez @thetiniestvole.bsky.social in prep for her big stay. She was v excited and ran off exploring , eager to see if she could find the legendary Kitty - she couldn’t. Her tail wagged and she located the fancy tiny cat sofa. My mind is at rest
