Fantastic. What sort of places are you staying at? The Interrailing part looks great, and not overly expensive, but the unfortunate necessity of sleeping has an additional cost attached.

Quite recently someone told me I didn't understand the meaning of ironic, which was ironic, because we were leaving church at the time.

I could have put five Michel Gondry videos really, but that one has such incredible synergy with the song. Hypnotic.

Do you know how annoying it is that that was my first thought and now I came on here and made myself look a fool... I knew it seemed incredibly tame. I was within four feet!

I don't think it'll ever leave your mind from this point.

I think I post about it every four years. Well, I certainly have done in 2017, 2021, 2025... no particular reason.

A worksheet exists and is used because it contains an exercise that tests, develops and allows assessment of a students' understanding or recall. Exercises are necessary and useful, and selecting them is good.

The task is not in any way better or worse simply because it is on or off a worksheet.

I get it! I think I've just spent too much of my life shouting into a void. Maybe if I find enough branches, that will help too.

I think that's completely fair; I think societal embrace of disruptive technologies is fundamentally concerning. I don't really know how we, in schools, could have stopped it, though; I feel like we're simply caught in a river trying to find a branch to hold on to while others burst the dam.

Is it the case in yours? Certainly not in my school, and I don't think that's true in all schools. The problem is that the students are already using it. We have to evaluate quickly, concerns included, but the concerns about the Internet or smartphones didn't stop them happening.

Personally, I see enough people pointing out the negatives and trade-offs that I don't think my contribution to that end is useful. But there are many dangers, and people do highlight them.

Got it. Took a little while. Good fun though I think! One very clear indicator, a couple of red herrings; a few synonyms later it arrived.

It's the responsibility of the data controller to ensure compliance. There may be companies that adequately protect data. But I don't see the value in any case.
