After a depressing year last year, I’ve been re-energized this year. My students work so hard and are such a lovely group, but THIS is why I love my job so so much. This is a girl I’ve worried about from the very start B/c she thought so little of herself. Her mindset has changed so much in 2 months

I’ve grown so attached to my gr. 8s this year, it kills me that we have 1 week left. Never have I had a group of students AND parents, fit my teaching style and personality so perfectly. This group is something special

Decided early in the year to change some rubrics by using Gen Z slang, hoping my kiddos would use them more. Little did I know that a parent would get such a kick out of them that they made me a hoodie for a year end gift. Needless to say, I loved it as soon as I opened it.

I’m more nervous about the Winnipeg Jets game tonight than I was about the Leafs or Oilers at any point in their series. I thought the Jets were going to breeze into the 2nd round. I guess that’s why the Stanley Cup Playoffs are the best postseason in all of sports! #LetsGoJets

One of the funniest moments I had teaching DE. All my boys had very short fuses that year & this incident occurred while they were changing after swimming. My jaw just completely dropped to the floor after the veteran teacher, who helped me out that day, said this to the boys 😂

Recently got a new car and decided to play around with the settings while waiting for the Mrs. then ended up discovering I could use 2 colours for the ambient lighting. So, being the nerd I am, I created some lighting settings based on Disney characters 🤷🏻♂️😂

The NHL got it right, replacing the All-Star Game with the 4 Nations Faceoff. That was a great game capped off by a crazy overtime period. Looking forward to watching all these games!

I honestly believe (Hope I’m wrong) with everything going on in the US, president shit stain is going to end up being killed by someone who loses everything because of his policies and has nothing left to lose. There are way too many people being trampled by him.

Just sold the very first car I ever bought, to make way for my new one. I’ve been driving it for almost 17 years and it has been so much fun. I’ll miss driving stick, but I’m so happy I won’t have to pay for gas or oil changes anymore.
