Decided early in the year to change some rubrics by using Gen Z slang, hoping my kiddos would use them more. Little did I know that a parent would get such a kick out of them that they made me a hoodie for a year end gift. Needless to say, I loved it as soon as I opened it.

One of the funniest moments I had teaching DE. All my boys had very short fuses that year & this incident occurred while they were changing after swimming. My jaw just completely dropped to the floor after the veteran teacher, who helped me out that day, said this to the boys 😂

Recently got a new car and decided to play around with the settings while waiting for the Mrs. then ended up discovering I could use 2 colours for the ambient lighting. So, being the nerd I am, I created some lighting settings based on Disney characters 🤷🏻♂️😂

My first attempt at coaching girls volleyball after the select team was left without a coach. First game is tonight and was handed this sticker by one of the girls after I expressed how nervous I was. This is why I loved coaching basketball with this group. They are so kind and have amazing hearts!

The new year means that this little lady is officially 12 yrs old. It’s been a wild ride during that time, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. She continues to amaze me each day with her kind heart, gentle spirit, & the sheer joy she brings to our lives. I just wish she would stop growing so fast

One of the best parts about hosting Christmas dinner is pulling my mom’s serving trays out. These meant so much to her. She was so proud of these, she couldn’t trust anybody to get them out for her. Our 5th Christmas without her, and the 1st without my dad, but we’ve got spots at the table for them

The original sleeves and nose pieces. So many rounds of golf, trips to Disney, days at the beach, and numerous walks/runs. These things have endured a ton of sweaty hours.

Out with the old and in with the new. After 24 years with my Oakley Twenty XXs, it is time to retire them before they completely fall apart.
Time for a switch to a Half Jacket 2.0. Hope these beauties last just as long or longer since the sleeves are a massive upgrade.
