If you sell a house you cannot use photos of when it was new. Similarly woodland can only be sold with photos as it looks now

When we bought our woodland the photos did not show the bluebells. The agent also forgot to mention them

I thought the South Saxons northern border was impressive, given it is the 1,500 year old ditch that marks our Kingdom of Kent woodland boundary with them. Until you see their southern border….

The problem with AI as a “replacement” for historians is that it makes up the past according to the biases that its creators are comfortable with. It is not research but simply an entrenchment of old stereotypes. It actually, in the long run, stuns progress and perpetuates disproved narratives.
