In DC, Trump officials celebrated the decimation of USAID with a sheet cake.

In South Sudan, USAID budget cuts closed a health clinic in the middle of a cholera outbreak.

Tor Top had to take his sick mother to the hospital, 8 hours away. She died on the way.

Trump's USDA is ordering grocery stores to follow a federal rule outlawing them from giving discounts to SNAP recipients whose benefits are currently frozen illegally.

So Trump's happy to finally follow the law as long as long as he can inflict pain and cruelty? Got it.

It is outrageous that Trump refuses to release the $5 billion to fund SNAP and feed our children.

The good news is that 11 Republicans are joining all Democrats to demand that we feed American children.

Let’s bring that bill to a vote on the floor immediately.

Trump is refusing to use contingency funds to fund SNAP — even though his own administration’s guidance said he had the legal authority to do so.

But he’ll find a way to bail out Argentina, conduct extrajudicial killings in the Caribbean, and build a vanity ballroom.

Priorities.

During the shutdown, Trump could find $40 billion to bail out Argentina & $300 million for a ballroom to host dinner parties with billionaires, but he won’t tap emergency funds to prevent millions of American kids from going hungry?
