He said that the agents would throw food at them to eat. The agents threatened to withhold food for a week and to beat him up if he didn't sign deportation papers. He said he saw others refuse and get beaten/receive no food. He signed because he was afraid.

We're not saying anyone should even contemplate doing this in their lifetime, but we have a feeling that millennials wouldn't even know the first thing to do in this situation. Is it just us, or are they actually as sensitive and scared of everything as everyone makes them out to be?

my most controversial opinion is that cheese is totally unnecessary on a burger, not bad per se but a fat-salt-protein gilding of a fat-salt-protein lily. the cheeseburger's status is clearly an artifact of US dairy subsidies rather than of merit.
