Incredibly soothing to draw this view.
A light pencil sketch of Lizard lighthouse station, which is a long building unlike stereotypical lighthouses, and which has a big radio tower. It is surrounded by fields of grass which roll off towards the cliffs and Housel bay. A fairly rough black ink sketch of Housel Bay at high-ish tide. The bay is backlit and many of the rocks appear very dark. You can just make out a lone monolithic piece of rock on the left. An even wider black ink and grey wash sketch of Housel bay. The monolithic rock on the left appears very dark and battered by the sea. The horizon is visible. A doodle of a moderately big farmhouse, seen end on. It has a large chimney and the garden wall is crenulated. Lots of large bushes obscure the ground floor and some cars are in the foreground.

Housel Bay, The Lizard, Cornwall. Terrible weather for a precarious clifftop walk, but great weather for a pint and a bit of drawing at the hotel.
