I doubt even the court would defend this as an accurate description of how the track was understood in the real world. But I also don't think the judiciary's "reasonable person" standard in defamation cases is about the real world anymore; it's more about advancing a type of speech fundamentalism.

A good opportunity to repeat one of my favorite points: the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy would overwhelmingly pay for itself *purely through reduced air & water pollution*, even if climate change didn't exist.
