To head people off, it's good to express concern over how Qzila might look to integrate AI into animation. But saying this trailer looks "off" only serves to disparage the style Kenichi Kutsuna has cultivated for well over a decade (as seen here) and fuels blind paranoia over AI.

No, people would instead be talking about how a Hosoda movie somehow went from looking like this to being incredibly bland and sterile lol

If it was in 2D it might actually be framed interestingly. But it's not, so we have to judge it in terms of how well they are utilizing 3D as a medium. And they're doing badly, probably because they're just trying to apply a 2D framework that doesn't work (compare to anything Orange does, again).
