A lot of people have lost sight of the concept of MMOs being a social experience, and not just a tunnel where you endlessly grind for gear (ideally in silence as everyone already knows what to do)

Not really, because it all circles back to the core problem of "why do you follow up your Endgame level conflict with this annoying guy who stands no chance"
November 19, 2025 at 11:11 PM
It's an unfortunate consequence of every MMO becoming WoW-shaped, and at this point I don't think there is any going back to MMOs built around world exploration being dangerous and necessitating people actually talking to one another

They created a fun setup for superhero office drama, and used it to make as inoffensively bland a story as they could about defeating the evil guy who is evil and proving that the underdogs can be heroes too

More people should go back to A New Hope where Vader leaves the film by comically spinning

Thoughts that can only come from the mind of the man who complained that Gundam IBO was too kiddy a day or so after the episode where the child soldier slaves perform a coup and summarily execute their masters.

You can also beat FF4 DS without those augments. I would know, since that was me not knowing you’re supposed to give augments to doomed characters

Any version of FF3 besides the DS. Even with the Famicom original the enemies are significantly weaker (because there are more on screen), it had Ninja and Sage as the mandatory best classes, and had a Cloud of Darkness on a very simple attack rotation which DS made way deadlier and random

This also applies to FF3 and FF3 DS

Most turn based RPGs also don't lock breaking the damage cap to literally the very end, where it then becomes basically mandatory to progress

New wallpaper just in time for Geoff to drop some big KH4 news

Yeah multiple judges have admitted to opening up online screenings for movies and just doing something else instead

Only care about the time-honored tradition of making fun of how bad the fighting game noms are

His Gears of War video is pretty funny. Tries really hard to squeeze something profound about post-Iraq War politics out of stories about dudes with chainsaw guns written by someone a little too into Mandalorians. And is probably the only person I've seen to love the Gears 4 shift to being YA
November 17, 2025 at 7:23 AM
And it's always funny to see people act like spoiler culture has always been a thing. Makes me think of when the author of One Piece talked about when he was young and a kid ran down the hallway in school screaming about how Krillin had died
November 16, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Looked up his youtube channel and it's endless slop
November 16, 2025 at 5:32 AM
Nintendo absolute doesn't want people thinking about too much with Metroid. Fusion is all about the Federaiton being shady and ends with Samus becoming a fugitive of the state, only for Dread to just ignore all that and she's just back to doing missions for them because don't worry about it

P4R is coming, they should release the Gas Station Attendant hat
November 15, 2025 at 8:37 PM
Make a CoD player try Quake 3 and their hands would probably explode
November 15, 2025 at 8:02 PM
She's very Mew Mew core

Michael Pachter has been wrong about literally everything he says since I was watching E3 coverage on GameTrailers and he's still at it

It's really sad how the prequels used midichlorians to demonstrate how the jedi have lost their way by witling down their spirituality to genetic determinism, only for the primary response to it for three decades to be "they explained the force (they didn't explain the force)"

Reminds me of Pokemon fans complaining about the amount of cutscenes in Sun and Moon (the cutscenes are 30 seconds long)
November 14, 2025 at 7:35 PM
Nojima saw people not getting Rebirth as the classic low point of a trilogy (where fate seems immutable and events play out how they're "supposed" to) and said "slap the word Destiny onto the book please"

A proper monarchist fantasy where the guys are just being dudes, this all checks out
