Gen 1 is pretty noticeably easier, especially once you know that the AI is extremely rudimentary and will just go for a move that's "super effective", even if that super effective move does no damage. Also you had a champion with pokemon like this

Yeah it's more wishful thinking on my part than anything lol, either way it's a breakdown in adaptation. If you haven't seen it would recommend Miss Hokusai from this same duo; it's more of a series of vignettes than a cohesive story, but think it sells its characters and their dynamics much better.

Part of what has made pages like this so impactful I think is that they get at the core of what makes superheroes meaningful, which is individuals with great power choosing to help the other people because they can.

To head people off, it's good to express concern over how Qzila might look to integrate AI into animation. But saying this trailer looks "off" only serves to disparage the style Kenichi Kutsuna has cultivated for well over a decade (as seen here) and fuels blind paranoia over AI.

If it was in 2D it might actually be framed interestingly. But it's not, so we have to judge it in terms of how well they are utilizing 3D as a medium. And they're doing badly, probably because they're just trying to apply a 2D framework that doesn't work (compare to anything Orange does, again).
