This is one that you really actually have to plod through quite a few episodes before the creator finally unleashes his madness. You definitely get the sense that he was given money to make a traditional Mecha show but then snapped mentally half way through production. I’d say Keep at it, but YMMV.

Insane hot take — but I’ll admit that I love how cartoonishly unhinged Terry Silver is. He’s practically a CAPTAIN PLANET villain! And Daniel is so insufferable and useless that I actually wanted the bad boy karate kid to kick the shit outta him whenever they faced off. What a way to end a trilogy!

That scene is what actually saved REVOLVER for me. And it left such impression on me that Mark Strong immediately became someone I decided to pay attention to.

I’ve really been digging it. My kind of deadpan humor. I like the little cliche-defying details, like how the two DEA agents assigned to the case seem like buffoons, but are pretty smart and capable. Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.
