I barely made it through the third season of Discovery. Just awful.

At least we got one great season of Picard, and some good episodes of Strange New Worlds.

Fun fact: I have seen VW squarebacks in operation in California in this century.

Unsurprisingly, they were in Berkeley.

The white one that preceded it was worse! (Pretty sure they dumped it soon after we moved to the house, which of course was Before Katy.)

- I actually *have this game on TV in the background* while I eat dinner, but I’m obviously not paying any attention to it (I’m reading Bluesky instead).

TBH the only Star Trek I’ve truly enjoyed since Star Trek II and III have been the first Chris Pine film, Strange New Worlds and (especially) the first season of Picard.

And it’s always been the writing. Ten times more “ehhh, better luck next time” episodes for every “well that was okay”.

(The old one and the same room went off from time to time before I replaced all the alarms, so maybe there’s something about that room?)

I had replaced them all 3 years ago; not really sure what I can do besides replace it again.

The dog and one of the cats are beside themselves. (The other 2 cats don’t care.) The humans aren’t thrilled either.

They also did the screenplay for Spider-Man: Homecoming (to be fair the least of the Holland films, but still).

I thought the D&D movie was perfectly fine. Not enough dungeons maybe, but a fun little fantasy film.
