Just heard about the death of Michelle Trachtenberg, and it's fucking me up pretty bad. A great actor, and someone that endured some terrible hardship in her field. She deserved so much more.

Someone called ICE on this sweet family who was running a Kebab restaurant. They have had a case open with with USCIS since 2016.
They would feed the homeless, people with disabilities, and people who just couldn’t afford to pay them.

Ordered door dash tonight after a long week. The delivery driver was a person displaced by the LA fires, staying in SD and doing door dash to help cover his hotel costs til he could go home. The fact that he has to go out of pocket on that is a sign that this country is broken at it's fucking heart.

A lot of the conversation the last week or so has revealed who doesn't have chronic pain, doesn't believe they themselves will ever have chronic pain, and also doesn't believe the effect it has on the life and mental health of someone with chronic pain. Good luck with that.

@jamesgunn.bsky.social I LOVED the first two episodes of Creature Commandoes! As a bit of a Shelley dork, I'm really intrigued by the changes made to the Frankenstein stuff and have a question. Giving the creature a name, the closer relationship with Victor, etc. are big deviations from the text.

I've been working on a supers RPG on the back burner, taking a bit of insurance from Neon City Overdrive, Blades in the Dark, and Wildsea. Reading that new BitD source book by Harper blew the doors off my design notes. He had already implemented a lot of the things I was thinking!

Had a weird interaction on the bad website with a dude that really wanted to argue about the use of the 180 rule in an episode of Superman and Lois. His definition of the 180 rule was so wrong, but he was fanatical about how right he was! The vibes were so strange and off.

I've spent the last six months or so reading every Teen Titans comic ever, along with every major crossover event or tie-in appearance. It has been...a lot of comics (around 1100 issues so far, and that only takes me up to 2016). It's been a very good distraction from... All of this shit.
