The KMT and the Comintern accusing each other of perfidy is the pointing Spiderman meme.

New York Times killed Weinstein and Epstein stories but just asked Ms Rachel if she was funded by Hamas.

And yet, they also are vocally and almost unanimously pushing back on Trump's immigration policy.

It's definitely in worse before it gets better territory, but on immigration and military stuff the administration is either doing or about to do things that are really unpopular but also can't be reigned in by anyone but Trump, and even that is questionable.

I don't see the White House having the will or the capacity to do so.

Right. If this is where he is now, where is he going to be in 6-10 months?

I'm huffing a little bit of copium here, but I do think we're closest we've been to a dam breaking moment since 1/6/2021.

If anything, if you're an at-risk Republican, having Trump back a primary challenger to you might actually help your chances since it gives you a chance to separate yourself from 2025-2026 Trump.

If I'm in a district that's already red-leaning-purple, do I really want the least popular president in US history campaigning for me, especially when there's a good chance he'll show up at the rally and do nothing but sway awkwardly to Andrew Lloyd Weber music?

You combine this with Trump's obvious mental and physical decline and if you're a Republican you've got to be asking yourself whether "Donald Trump will campaign for you in 2026" is a threat.

Tempted to drop "The project situation has not developed necessarily to our advantage" in a meeting one of these days.

The wild part is... the Pizzagate crowd was (kinda) correct. The "liberal NYT" was part of a conspiracy to cover it up.

I'm really hoping the Epstein-mavericky gang can blow this wide open.

MTG and Massie can rail against the NYT as an icon of "liberal journalism."

The rest of us can rail against the NYT as a disgraceful traitor against journalism.

(Congressional Dems should rail quietly; we really need some Cons to join the cause more than we need Dem stemwinder floor speeches.)
Can we circle back to the part where the NY Times never disclosed that they have incriminating information on Donald Trump from sent by Epstein that's been sitting on their email servers for nearly a decade?

I also think they're getting to the point where they're looking at 2026 and are now more afraid of Trump coming out to campaign for them than they are of him backing a primary challenger.

I think they're starting to realize that they're coming up on a slowly, then all at once moment.

The shutdown meetings may have made Trump's mental decline into total incoherence more visible to house and senate reps in a way that it wasn't before.
