But, we do. So. This is your reminder to my medical friends that insurance companies aren't going to just give you the money that your services warrant. You've gotta code for it.

It's just that nobody here before ever knew to check and make sure that the clinic was being paid appropriately for the high level of care that they were delivering.
We shouldn't have to do this. Clinical staff have enough on their plates already. We're already pulled in 500 different directions.

Oh it's so prevalent. Had a patient just the other day that was significantly under managed because she was just too complex for telehealth anymore. She hasn't been assessed in person in years. But the telehealth company refused to refer her out until she landed in my ICU bed. Maddening.

Like, I don't even have time to get my oil change and these buttholes are out infiltrating ESL courses just to yell offensive things. Can I hire them? I need my gutters cleaned and my lunch packed and a million other things I can never seem to get around to doing.
